This is an oil painting of a red fox napping at a wildlife refuge in the pine barrens of New Jersey. The background shows the typical sandy soil of the forests in southern New Jersey.
About Sandra Chase
Sandy is a graduate of The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia. She has won awards in numerous jury shows and has had four solo exhibitions in New Jersey and Maryland. Sandy has been painting portraits of family pets, domestic animals, and wildlife in oil or colored pencil for 25 years. She currently lives with two dogs, three cats, three koi, and her husband, Max.
